Refund policy

The buyer may return a product purchased from the seller within 14 days.

When returning a product, it must be in its original condition and unused, together with its packaging, which must also be in a resalable condition. If the product is sealed, the seal must not be broken.

If the buyer does not wish to exchange the product for another product, a credit note will be issued after the returned product has been received. The credit note is provided in the form of a code that can be used on this website when making a purchase and is valid for one year from the date of issue. Shipping and postage costs are non-refundable.

The seller reserves the right to verify that the product is in acceptable condition within a reasonable period of time.

The seller reserves the right to prevent any misuse of the 14-day return policy.

Right of Return

Article 1. A seller who has decided to grant consumers the right to return non-defective goods shall provide written and easily accessible information about this right of return at its place of business, as well as at the time of sale and delivery of the product.

Credit Notes

Article 5. If no agreement is reached regarding a refund or a replacement product for the product being returned, the consumer is entitled to a credit note. A credit note means authorization to purchase unspecified goods up to a specified monetary amount. The validity period of a credit note with respect to the seller and any party to whom the seller may transfer the business is four years unless otherwise stated on the credit note, but never less than one year.

Regarding Article 5.

It is emphasized here that if no agreement is reached regarding a refund, or if the consumer believes that they cannot exchange the product for another product, they shall be entitled to a credit note. The committee considers it unfair for credit notes to be limited to one specific type or category of product. It was therefore considered necessary to define and specifically clarify what is meant by the term credit note. The committee also considers that it may be unfair to the seller if there are no restrictions on the use of credit notes during sales, as referred to in Article 9 and the discussion thereof below. However, it should be noted that the seller and consumer may always specifically agree that the credit note may be accepted during a sale, either in full or as payment for a sale item at its price before the sale and without the sale discount. The general rule is that a claim based on a credit note expires after four years, pursuant to Act No. 14/1905 on the limitation of debts and other claims. The committee considers it reasonable that a shorter period may be agreed upon. However, such a period may never be shorter than one year. It is important that such claims are recorded in the accounts of the business and remain valid against any party to whom the business owner may transfer the business operations.

Return Period

Article 2. In consumer purchases, products may be returned within at least 14 days from the date they are delivered, provided that a receipt or comparable proof of purchase is presented. This provision shall never limit any greater rights consumers may have under applicable law or an agreement with the seller.

Regarding Article 2.

This states that when a product is returned, the consumer must provide evidence of the purchase and its date by presenting a receipt or other comparable proof, such as an invoice that adequately demonstrates when the product was purchased. These procedural rules are primarily intended to resolve issues concerning the return of non-defective products, meaning consumers' right of return. However, legislation contains provisions regarding remedies available to consumers if a product proves to be defective, as well as the time limits for raising such defects. These procedural rules are in no way intended to replace such provisions and therefore can never restrict any rights that consumers may have under the law. The same applies if the consumer and seller reach an agreement granting the consumer greater rights than those provided for under the minimum standards. It is appropriate that this be stated in the rules.
